About Me
My Story
I’m a proud union makeup artist (I.A.T.S.E. Local 798) with a deep love for storytelling. From film and TV to national campaigns, I’ve had the honor of working on sets for HBO, Netflix, Apple TV+, and Paramount+, collaborating under the leadership of acclaimed Makeup Department Heads to help bring characters to life—on camera and under pressure.
My Roots
My journey started the first time I saw Pat McGrath on Fashion File—a moment that changed everything. Seeing a Black woman behind the scenes at fashion week made artistry feel possible for me. From there, I devoured Kevin Aucoin’s books and utilized my favorite technique from Aucoin: using one eyeshadow to create both highlight and depth in the eyes. His ability to transform with intention still influences me today.
Throughout the 2000s, I honed my craft on local plays, fashion shows, and countless friends and family members. Eventually, I made the leap to retail with MAC and Charlotte Tilbury, where I learned that makeup is more than just a product—it’s an experience. That foundation carried me from counters to call sheets, and into the fast-paced world of production, where versatility, intuition, and collaboration are everything.
My Approach On Set
Whether I’m keying a commercial, day-playing on a unit, or diving into character-driven work, I bring a calm presence, a creative eye, and an understanding of what it takes to make talent feel confident and camera-ready. My artistry aesthetic is all about embracing what makes us imperfect. I’m drawn to lived-in, natural looks that feel honest—but I’m just as ready to turn up the glam when the project calls for it.
With a background in graphic design and a genuine passion for people, I approach every face with intention—and every set with purpose.
